What Is Christmas With Chris Tomlin: Good News of Great Joy Tour?
Christmas With Chris Tomlin: Good News of Great Joy Tour is Chris Tomlin’s dedicated 2026 holiday concert series.
Rather than being simply another stop on his regular concert schedule, these shows are centered specifically around Christmas worship and the meaning of the season.
The tour announcement described the concerts as opportunities for people to gather, worship and celebrate Christmas together. Tomlin has also emphasized the connection between Christmas, music and the announcement of Jesus’ birth when discussing the purpose behind the tour.
That gives the concert a different atmosphere from a standard Chris Tomlin live show. Holiday music, worship and a seasonal presentation are at the center of the experience.

What to Expect at a Chris Tomlin Christmas Concert
This tour is presented as a Christmas worship experience rather than simply a collection of seasonal pop songs.
Fans can expect an environment built around Christmas, Christian worship and gathering together during the holiday season. The official tour description emphasizes celebrating the Savior and experiencing Christmas with friends and family.
Exact production elements and setlists can vary between performances, so it is better not to assume that a specific song will be performed.
Chris Tomlin’s broader catalog includes widely recognized worship songs such as “How Great Is Our God,” “Our God” and “Holy Forever.”
Whether particular non-Christmas favorites appear during the 2026 Christmas shows will depend on the actual concert setlist.
Chris Tomlin Christmas Songs and Worship Experience
Christmas has been part of Chris Tomlin’s recorded music for years, including holiday worship projects centered on the birth of Christ.
His Christmas concert format naturally connects familiar seasonal themes with the congregational worship style for which his live performances are known.
That combination is an important distinction for anyone deciding whether this is the right holiday event for them. The experience is designed around faith and worship, with Christmas providing the central theme.
Fans looking only for a traditional secular Christmas concert should understand that Christian worship is fundamental to the event’s identity.
Tips for Attending the Concert
